Alexander was born in New York City on August 18, 2026, to Benjamin and Nicole Lazar.


He had been raised to live a fairly normal life despite never knowing that his mother had a habit of moonlighting as the crime-fighter known as Lynx. It wasn’t until he had fallen into his rebellion years and became a member of a local street gang, causing Alex to have his fair share of run-ins with the NYPD while in his early teens, even serving a three-month stint in juvenile hall. The night he had to once again lie to his parents about where he was going, Alex had a dealing to go to and ended up getting into an argument with his father that informed him that he needed to be more responsible for not just his life, but his actions as well. Like the teenager he was, Alex lashed out at his father and left for the meeting.

Like all meetings that run at night and deal with gang members, it didn’t bode well for Alex as he ended up being caught in the middle of a gang war. With a few of the members dead, Alex finds himself on the run; what was unknown to him was that his mother was hiding out not to far behind, watching and taking out the opposing members of the other gang so once Alex flees onto the open grounds of a nearby park, he comes face to face with a masked vigilante. Confused at first, he didn’t know whether to fight or flight, until she revealed herself.

Dumbfounded, and now knowing that his mother was the Lynx, Alex left his rebellion years behind him only, because his mother had literally threatened to live his behind in jail and disown him. Not wanting to leave the good life he knew he had, Alex shaped up.


Over time, Alex is convinced that despite the world being littered with heroes, there is still a need for another much against his parent’s wishes. Alex also sees it as a way to make up for his past sins, in hope that his heroic role is his chance at redemption. As a student, he aspires of being a doctor, but his past always comes into his mind; always feeling guilty about letting his family and friends down because of his past as a juvenile delinquent. Because of this, he always tries to find a way to make up for what he's done; trying his best at school, joining athletic teams, and helping others, in the hope that someday people will see him differently.
